Sodateru — to nurtureAikido for children and juniors.

Confidence your child carries out of the door.

Aikido gives children something rare: a discipline with no losers. There are no fights to win, only skills to grow — and every child grows at their own pace.

What parents notice first

Techniques are the visible part of Aikido. What parents tell us they notice is everything around them: better posture, steadier eye contact, more patience with homework, more kindness with siblings.

  • Confidence — standing tall, speaking up, trying again
  • Bullying resilience — calm awareness, not aggression
  • Focus and discipline — a bow begins and ends every class
  • Friendship — training partners become good friends
  • Leadership — older juniors help newer ones learn

Juniors always train in pairs — cooperation is the lesson inside the lesson

Your child's first Saturday, step by step

  • Arrive ten minutes early and meet Aziz Sensei at the door
  • Loose clothing, bare feet — nothing to buy for the trial
  • The first skill taught is always how to fall safely
  • Parents are welcome to stay and watch the whole class
